MLM Advertising and what the best way to advertise your MLM opportunity is a question that many many in Network Marketing have, not just those who conduct internet network marketing.

The best way, in my opinion is to use something known as Pay-Per-Click marketing, or more commonly known as PPC. The best way to generate leads for your MLM opportunity.

Why do I feel it is the best way?  Because you can get your advertising message, literally in front of millions of people within minutes of launching your campaign.

Here is the basic concept with PPC advertising.  You pick where your advertisement is going to show, based upon what “keyword” you want your advertisment to be placed with, and your ad only appears there.

Here is the really cool part though.  As opposed to traditional advertising, you only pay for that advertisement when someone clicks on your ad.  How cool is that?  So you only get someone who is interested in what you have to say, and they want more information about it.  You only pay for them.  Make sense?

Ok, so now where exactly can you actually do MLM advertising with PPC?

The biggest networks, by far where you can advertise on are:

Google

Yahoo

MSN

However, there are other places you can advertise on as well, including, for example.

Adbright.com

Facebook.com

Also, there are tons of places where advertisements show up.  All across the internet, all three networks have something known as their Content Network where literally you can place advertisements on other peoples sites.

You can even buy advertising space directly from relevant web sites!

The best places to start out are advertising on either Google, or Yahoo.  Each has its own distinct advantages and disadvantages.  Google by far has more traffic, however Yahoo has much less restrictive on the kinds of websites that can advertise on them.

List Builders can be seen everywhere across the Internet.  Services such as List Joe, List Bandit, Viral Url, and ListDotCom all profess that all you need to do is subscribe to their “Free” service and you can automatically start to build a downline and list of subscribers for yourself.

In this post and video, I am going to show you some of the facts behind list builders, and my actual tracking stats for the ones I use.  Yes, I do use list builders, but in a very particular way.

I’m not going to say that you should, or must use List Builders.  That is for you to decide.  However, I do recommend that if you are considering or currently to use them, to take a look at some facts behind how I use them, and decide if its for you or not. There is alot of hype around using List Builders, but very little factual information.

I most closely correlate the use of List Builders to targeted Email Marketing.  Essentially when you get enough “credit” you can “rent” their list of subscribers.

What this means is that you can email around 3000 of their List Builder subscribers every 3 days.

In fact, when you go through this video, I’ll show you exactly how much I pay per lead.  Generally, you get the option of mailing this amount of people for an entire year for around $197 per year.

Now, one thing you need to think about it is this, whenever you do any kind of marketing….what is the target market for List Builders?  People who subscriber to these services are usually Business Opportunity Seekers.  Most likely they have some sort of business of their own, and are looking to promote their business themselves.

But, you can use this to your advantage.  How?  Well, if you use a List Builder, you need to use a form of a landing page known as a Squeeze Page, in which you offer some free information to people….to help them out…in order for them to opt-in to your list.  See what I mean?

OK, so what are some stats for the ones I’ve used?

ViralUrl - 12.5% Opt-In Rate To Leads.  I think this is probably the most responsive List Builder out there.  Why?  Because they offer a link cloaking service, which is valuable in itself, and a very good reason that people would subscribe to this list. This has generated the most paying leads for me while I’ve been using it.

ListJoe – 2.3% Opt-In Rate To Leads – You are going to get alot of people on here that click to earn credits for their own purposes.  Don’t let the low percentage fool you though.  This List Builder has produced the second most number of leads for any List Builder that I have used.

List Bandit – 22.3% Opt-In Rate To Lead – Pretty good rate of opt-in here.  The list they maintain is very responsive.  If you are going to purchase the upgrade, you do need to know that the quantity of leads generated here will be smaller since you are able to only email 1500 subscribers every 3 days.

ListDotCom - 19.7% Opt-In Rate To Lead – While this is a pretty good opt-in rate to leads, in terms of the number of leads I’ve been able to generate from this, has not been worth the money I spent for the upgrade.  Just not responsive enough for my purposes and market.  This list is much more geared towards affiliate marketers than network marketers.

OK, there you have the facts, the good, the bad and the ugly.  I’m not here to say whether you should use them or not.

Only you can decide if any of them are worth upgrading to.  At least you have the facts behind them, along with some actual data to make a decision with!

If you were going to upgrade to just one List Builder, I would recommend using Viral Url since I’ve found them to be the most responsive and have a very legitimate service that people sign-up for.

One thing I do feel very strongly about is this

…..if you choose not to upgrade to the paid version of any of these List Builders (now that you have the facts, you can make an educated decision)….don’t spend time clicking around to earn credits on these.

I understand the allure of “free” traffic, but free is a relative term.  If you are spending your time on something, you’ve gotta get a decent return on your time investment.

Its just far too time consuming for the amount of payoff from it.  I would rather have you spend that time learning how do article marketing or do video marketing to generate leads for your business than spending mindless time click click clicking away.

Get 7 Days of Cutting Edge Tools, Tips, and Techniques for Network Maketers – MLM Sponsoring Now

OK, here is your free MLM Traffic formula for using your own content to generate free internet traffic for your network marketing business. Let’s get right too it!

Here is a quick video I did for you on this MLM Traffic Formula System

Step 1 – Do your keyword research. Use the free tool that Google gives you to research whatever keyword you are going to base your content off of. Lets say you decideon the keyword “looking for MLM” or internet network marketing

Step 2 – Write a 400-600 article based around that keyword. If you need to, review my post on how to do on-page optimization.

Step 3 – Do a video on the same subject as your article and the keyword that you chose. When you save your video, save it with the file name of the keyword you chose (stay with me here). Ok…stay with me here…..this just where its getting good

Step 4 – Publish that article on your blog first (you are going to want to make your blog your “highlighted” piece of content).

Step 5 – Take that same article, and publish it to 5-10 article directories, like EzineArticles.com In the resource box of the article directory you are able to create a hyperlink. The word of that hyperlink should be the keyword you wrote your article about, and the link itself should go back to the blog post where you originally posted the article.

Step 6 – Now, take your video and post it to YouTube. Ok, dont forget this. In the comments section of the video, go ahead and copy and paste the article you wrote into the comments. In addition, copy the URL of your blog post into the comments section. Make the URL the first thing that you see on the post.

Step 7 – Go ahead, back to your blog post….and embed that video into you blog post so that every time someone views the blog post, they see the video.

Step 8 – Go ahead and take your article…..and make a Squidoo lens about the same subject. Include the keyword for your article in the title of your lens. Now include the video you produced in the squidoo lens.

Step 9 – Go through this process for every piece of content you produce! Just like a good recipe…..doing it over and over…..maybe adding a piece or two to it.

One last thing…..make sure you included a link to your lead capture page to capture leads from the traffic you just generated.

You can add other things in there, like publishing it on a hubpage……or other video sites. You get relevant backlinks to your central piece of content that you produced here…..and very optimized content on your own website that acts like a magnet for traffic!

Thats really the gist of it. You create your blog as a focal point to bring in search engine traffic…..and get tons of links back to you individual blog posts. You can get your own hosting for a blog here at Hostgator

Conducting recruiting in network marketing today is very different then it was 10-20 years ago. Many of the traditional old school methods of making lists of people and conducting opportunity meetings have gone by the wayside with the advent of the internet.

The internet has enabled people to generate leads for either your business opportunity or products at a very rapid pace. Much faster then one would have with traditional face to face methods.

When you conduct recruiting on the internet in network marketing today, you need to put together a system in which to introduce, qualify and filter potential prospects for your MLM business. This system is commonly referred to as a marketing system.

The basic components of this system are as follows: a Website, an email autoresponder system, and methods for getting people across the internet to reach your site.

The purpose of your website is to have a virtual place for your visitors to first reach and encounter you online. A website is like a piece of virtual real estate in network marketing today. It can be as simple as having a brief benefit driven headline and an offer to give people more information if they simple fill in their name and email address into the prescribed box you put on.

You need to think of an autoresponder as the relationship and trust building management piece in network marketing today. What it does is send out a pre-determined series of emails to people who have requested more information about you and what you have to offer on your site. The emails themselves should deliver whatever benefit you discussed on your website. By virtue of giving people solid, reliable information in your emails, you start to build a trust with your reader.

The final piece of your recruiting system in network marketing today is a process known as generating internet traffic. What that essentially means is to direct internet viewers to your site. There are various means to do this, both free and paid, but ultimately, the more traffic you get to your website, the more leads you will generate for your MLM business. The more of a web presence you have, the easier it is for people to find you and your website and ultimately to get into your marketing system.

These are just the very basic components of your marketing structure that you need in order to conduct network marketing today. Putting those pieces together is not hard, you just have to learn or be shown how to do it.

Now onto the second half of how to get free traffic to your MLM website or piece of MLM content that we talked about in the previous video.

The first part talked about what you can actually do ON your website, but this part is going to focus on what you can do off your website to help get that free traffic we are talking about.

Getting links back to your website is crucial to increasing the traffic to your piece of content that you have published.

What I mean by a “link” is having other websites, or pieces of content from all over the internet pointing back to your website. The actual link is something known as a hyperlink from another website.

A special kind of link is the best kind to have, and this is referred to as anchor text in that link. OK, follow along with me here.

Having something linked from another website with a link like this is fine:

http://NewSchoolNetworkMarketingBlog.com

It will establish a physical link to your website, but this is even better:

MLM Training Blog

The “MLM Training Blog” is known as keyword specific anchor text…..and adds relevancy back to the page where it links to for the keywords “MLM Training Blog”

So, a great way to get backlinks (if this is the keyword I chose) is to get tons of links pointing back to my webpage or piece of content with the text “MLM Training Blog” as a hyperlink.

What search engines see is that your particular piece of content has a bunch of links pointing to it…but more importantly links about “MLM Training Blog”…therefore, the page they are linking to must be important and have good content about “MLM Training Blog”

This passes something known as “relevancy” for that keyword back to the original piece of content.

Having links like this will dramatically improve your search engine rankings……for your specific keyword you wrote your content about….. I can’t stress this enough.

And…higher search engine rankings means more free traffic and leads from that keyword.

Making sense?

Now there are tons of places to get “backlinks” to your content. Here is a quick listing:
