Time for another lesson in driving traffic.  This time its a old stand by, Forum Marketing.   Have you noticed a trend in some of my suggestions? You are learning ways that the smart people use to DRIVE INTERNET TRAFFIC TO THEIR Network Marketing web site. I’ll get into what a good web site looks like to promote in a little bit.

I am teaching you some ways to DRIVE that internet traffic to your business.

You need to get a FREE membership to the a Business Chat network marketing forum, there are so many in the Internet marketing community on the Internet… Period.

In reality, a Forum membership is more valuable than all the Internet marketing eBooks, training programs and membership sites you could ever join. In fact, most of the people publishing Internet marketing eBooks, training programs and membership sites are active forum members.

Remember when I talked about education??? You will not get any better education then on a forum. It is full of real people making real comments on how to make money, drive traffic and get rich on the Internet. You want to make some money right?

So what is a Forum? A Forum is an online community and discussion forum for internet users.

Forums are often stomping grounds for the best Internet marketers on the planet.

A Forum is a training ground for thousands of up and coming Internet marketers.

A Forum is a place to share ideas, find answers, make friends and develop partnerships.

A Forum is an organic, always growing, support resource for your entire Internet marketing business.

In addition to all of this, Forums are *great* places to PROMOTE you and your web site.

The only way to benefit from Forums is to experience it for yourself.

So let’s get started…

The hints and tips I am giving you here can make you a fortune if you use them. Just stay focused and go with what I am saying.

OK, signature files. What’s a signature file? A sig file is an ad placed at the end of each of your forum posts. What’s a forum post? A forum post is when you respond to a discussion in progress (also known as a thread) by typing a response and submitting it. The Forums contain thousands of discussions in progress. When you post to a discussion in a forum, your response will be included as part of the discussion. At the end of your response, your sig file ad will appear so that everyone who reads that thread in the future has the opportunity to see your ad.

What do you want to include on your signature file? A link to your web site you are promoting of course!!!! Having a web page in your signature file is essential. Sig file ads in the forum are immortal. In other words, they can remain active and produce profits for you forever. Even when a discussion (thread) is no longer being actively posted to, it remains in the forum archives forever. These archives are often indexed by Google and other major search engines and discussions that you’ve participated in are often found by people using the search engines.

The more you post in the forum, the more inbound links you’ll get to your website. The more inbound links you get, the more visitors you’ll attract. The more visitors you attract, the more sales you’ll make. It really is that simple.

OK so here is the secret. Go to each one of those network marketing forums I recommended and post something on there in response to a thread of discussion.

Here is the key though…NEVER ADVERTISE YOUR BUSINESS ON A NETWORK MARKETING FORUM!!!! Your signature file does all the advertising for you! When you post a comment……ask a relevant question, post some information that might be useful to someone on there. NEVER blatantly advertise your business on there…people will label you as a spammer and not listen to you at all. Even worse, you might get banned from that forum.

Do 5 forum posts a day for 25 days. With your signature file attached, that is 125 links back to your website! All for commenting and learning from a forum for FREE!!! The more posts you do, the more people are going to think you are an expert! People want to work with an expert and they will start clicking on your link in your signature file. WHAMO!!!! Instant traffic to your web site.. Get it?

Now, wash, rinse, repeat… AT LEAST 5 times today and every day for the next 25 days!!!

Last week I talked about how Onlywire.com can bookmark 20 of the top social bookmarking sites at once. Go here for the last post.

What I did not include was what I consider are the two best social bookmarking sites out there: Digg.com and StumbleUpon.com

What makes these bookmarking sites great is their popularity and traffic. If a visitor happens to go to your site and either Digg you or Stumble you, and that person is connected on those sites with quite a few others….watch out. You will get a flood of traffic to your post.

The example I will use was given by John Reese, author of Traffic Secrets and Traffic Secrets 2.0. He said that one of his blog posts happened to be “Dug” enough so that he made it to the front page for the day on Digg…..and it generated an extra 200,000 visitors to his site!! Wow!

The key is to produce good content on your posts and people will use these services to share your posts with their friends.

Free Successful Network Marketing Tips here

Ok, by now you know I am a fan of having a network markering blog as an essential part of your network marketing business. It can drive traffic and establish an essential relationship with you and your prospective clients…..IF you give them something of value.

One other popular way to generate traffic to your blog is to “Ping” your blog. Pinging essentially is a way to tell certain websites, like Technorati, that you have updated your blog, and for them to come and check your blog out and look for updated content.

One great service I use is Ping-o-matic. It notifies 20 different major sites like Yahoo, Technorati, etc that you have updated your blog and does so automatically.

Now, here is the trick I use. I use Feedburner to syndicate my RSS feed out there, and when you use Feedburner, click on the “Publicize” tab, then click on the “PingShot” button. Activate Pingshot!!!!

What” Pingshot” will do is automatically notify Ping-o-matic that you have updated your site, which in turn will notify all of those other sites PLUS Google Blog and 5 other services of your choice. TOO EASY!!! All you gotta do is sign-up for Feedburner, subscribe to all the sites that Ping-o-matic pings to, and then let Feedburner do all the work.

Its a great way to let the world know that you have updated your blog and to drive additional traffic to your network marketing blog.

Making comments on other blogs is a great tactic, especially on other network marketing blogs, and for the beginner to accomplish several things:

1) Educate yourself on those that are experts in your industry.

2) Attract people to YOUR blog by leaving meaningful, relevant comments to the authors posts.

3) Position yourself as an expert by adding to the discussion that is currently going on at the blog.

The best way to do this is to research and find blogs that are specific to your industry.  When you regularly go to those blogs, leave relevant comments, and read what the author has to say about important topics in your industry, your will attract traffic and add to your credibility.t

Article submission is a great tool to get traffic back to your website, whether it is a static web site, or a blog. However, for a while I was manually submitting each article I wrote, web site by web site. Go-to this site, log-in, insert article, rinse and repeat.

That drove me CRAZY! While these articles were getting me traffic, it was a very painful process. Luckily, I stumbled across two services which exponentially increased the speed at which I would submit artilces.

First was Article Submitter Plus. For $47 dollars, you could buy and download software which saves your article submission sites on the software, along with user name and password. It makes it as simple as this process: Log-in, the article is automatically downloaded for your, hit the submit button, click on “Next”, and start the process over with the next site. No more remembering URLs or passwords, this service does it for you. You can probably get about articles submitted to about 200 sites in about an hour.

This software was OK, and much better then manual submission. On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest, I would rate it a 4.

However, the next service I rate at a 5 out of 5. With Article Marketer, you submit your article to them, and they submit it to hundreds upon hundreds of article directory sites.

What is even cooler is that your articles go thru a two tiered screening process before submission to article directories. Once, by a computer and then once by an actual person. If it gets thru their screening, you are guaranteed having your articles accepted at the directory. The site also does all of the formatting for your articles for you so you don’t have to worry about that. Not a bad deal at $80 every 3 months.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend using one of these services, since this will help you leverage your time much better so you can concentrate on building your business.
