Cheap Network Marketing Leads

Just a little quick lesson here on how to effectively reduce your click and lead costs with Google to get dirt cheap network marketing leads.

One fairly common tactic when using Google Adwords is known as “Peel And Stick” . What this means is that, while you might have a tightly focused group of keywords in any particular ad group, you can “peel” any given keyword that might have more potential and “stick” it in its own ad group.

The other day, I was checking on one particular adgroup I had been working on. While at the time, I had believed when I grouped my keywords together pretty tightly, as it turns out, only one keyword in that particular ad group had a “good” quality score, while the others had a “poor” quality score. Definitely not good when trying to generate network marketing leads!

OK, so what did I do?

- I paused all under performing keywords in that ad group and pulled out keywords and grouped them into a total of three adgroups.

- In the new adgroups, I precisely matched the ad I used, and included the keyword in the headline exactly.

- I raised the bid by 10% over the minimum bids that google was giving me.

So, what was the end results? I had tons of keywords go from a “poor” quality score of 3, with a minimum bid of $1 per click, to a “good” quality score of $.05 per click. I started getting impressions and clicks and leads from previously “dead keywords”

What is the lesson here? Well, how powerful this technique of “peel and stick” can be, and the excellent results you can get if you spend the time to be granular enough with your ads and keyword grouping. Like we talked about in the PPC lead generation video above, your most focused keywords will look something like this (depending on which company you are in)

- amway (broad match) – This will give you the broadest range of searches.

- “amway” (phrase match) – This will give you a more narrow range of searches.

- [amway] (exact match) – This kind of keyword will only trigger your ad when that specific word or phrase is typed into the search engines.

So, that is the easiest and quickest way to get the most targeted, easiest to recruit leads from pay per click marketing.

Literally with them and their credit card in hand, ready to join your opportunity.

MLM PPC Lead Generation

You know, I got a call the other day from a subscriber the other day, and I wanted to pass along the gist of the conversation for you, as it provides a valuable insight into people’s mindsets, and what it takes to really make your business successful. The subject was about generating network marketing leads with pay per click advertising.

The phone call went something like this…after the initial introductions and such, and the guy….was pretty irate….at first. Read the whole thing and you’ll understand

I’ll call the guy Bob, even though that’s not his name really.

“You know Kurt, thanks for the email and video about PPC, but I’m sick and tired of all you guys out there just not coming out there and telling us how to do PPC and generate leads with it? You tell us the best way to get leads, but don’t tell us how to do it!”

At this point, I smiled, and politely responded, “Hey Bob, I’ve got a question for you….do you play sports?” I said.

He responded after taking a deep breath, “Yeah, played ‘em all my life. Played baseball mostly. I was a big home run hitter in High School.”

“Ahhh very cool. I love baseball myself, but was never much of a home run hitter. So, let me ask you, how do you hit a home run?” I replied.

After a long pause he said, “What do you mean how do you hit a home run? It just…well it just happens.”

“Really, it just happens? So, if I were to new to baseball, and went out and pick-up a bat, I can just hit a home run? Just like that?” I asked.

He replied, “No, no, you’ve first gotta learn how to hold the bat, and then how to swing it with the right balance, learning how to keep your eye on the ball, hitting for contact first.”

“Ohh, I see, so thats how to do it. So, since I’m not there, can you recommend a good clinic so that I can learn how to hit a home run? I mean, they can teach me, right? I really want to learn as fast as I can.” I asked again.

“Ohh yeah, I can recommend a good clinic, I know a couple of them, some good some bad, but I know some good ones. They are really essential to get you going in the right direction. But, here is the thing, they will teach you the basics, but, your going to need to get out there and practice practice practice what they taught you. That’s how you get really good at hitting the ball and hitting it for home runs.” he exclaimed.

“So, Bob, you are telling me that I should go to a clinic and learn the basics first, have them get me going in the right direction, and then I need to practice? But, why can’t they just teach me how to hit a home run?’ I said.

“It just doesn’t work that way man, you’ve gotta practice to get good at it after getting some good instruction.” Bob replied.

“OK Bob, so you are saying I need to to do all that in order to learn how to hit a home run?” I asked rhetorically.

“Yep”.

” So what makes you think I can send out one email to teach you how to generate leads with pay per click?” I added with a smile on my face.

I next heard a big laugh from Bob and he said, “Hey man, I get it now….thats funny, OK, sorry to harass you, but I never thought about it that way Kurt.”

You see, generating leads with pay per click is just like baseball or golf, or anything for that matter. You need good instruction, but after you get that instruction, you gotta go out and practice practice practice until you get good at it.

PPC Landing Pages – How To Create Your Own Unique PPC Landing Page

In case you have not heard recently, Google is starting to crack down on the use of replicated pages (both company created ones, and business opportunity ones), Iframed pages and domain masking in relation to how people are using them for pay per click.

Essentially, your PPC keyword quality scores will be going WAY down….and your cost-per-click will be going WAY up.

But its actually much easier than you think to create your own PPC squeeze page using free tools availabe on the internet.

I consider it an essential skill that everyone who wants to do any internet MLM or internet network marketing to eventually know how to create their own unique landing page. Eventually, yes, especially if you want to delve into the realm of Google Adwords.

Why essential? Well, it helps brand YOU as something different from everyone else, and online and in direct marketing, if you have something different to offer, that is good.

When you make yourself appear different, and have something unique to offer (more commonly known as your unique selling position) people will get to know and trust YOU. Being trustworthy and unique is critical to online MLM.

OK, so back to creating your own unique PPC landing page for internet MLM. You will need to two tools:

- An html editor – I recommend using a free one at first – Kompozer

- A ftp program – This is just a fancy word for a program that uploads your page you created so that people can view it on the internet. – I use a free one called FileZilla

- An autoresponder service – I use Aweber (You can get a 30 day risk free trial through here Aweber). This will be a place to build your own list of subscribers with!

- Domain hosting – This is where you will store your web pages where people can see them. Just go to GoDaddy.com and get cheap web hosting for PPC pages for about $5 a month.
