A great way to drive traffic to your web site is to create a blog of your own.
Why ever would you blog for network marketing you might ask? Publishing a blog allows you to instantly create new content-rich web pages. These new pages should include links that point back to your web site that we created earlier and/or promoted separately. By creating additional content-rich website pages, you’ll be accomplishing two important things:
1) You’ll provide more value for your prospects. This increases the “stickiness” of your website making people ultimately trust you more. On the Internet, trust translate to profits!
2) Search engines LOVE fresh content created through blogs. By publishing your own blog and adding fresh content to it on a regular basis, you’ll attract the attention of the major search engines who will list your website in their directories for FREE. That’s right! As soon as you have pages of your blog in the search engines, you’ll start attracting free qualified traffic to your site (I like to call this organic traffic).without paying a dime for it.
Are you ready to get started?
You can do this in one of two ways. You can either get a free blog at Blogger.com . Those are fine and will serve a purpose, but if you REALLY want to have search engines go crazy, you need your own unique blog address (not one that ends in .blogspot.com)
With a unique URL you are branding YOU and YOUR BLOG as unique in the eyes of search engines which will make it MUCH easier to boost your rankings and in-turn MUCH easier to get traffic to. We are blogging in order to get people to our web site we created, right??? Why else do it?? (Other than its fun of course 
).
You are going to need two things:
A URL and a Hosting Account. A URL is just a web site name that you want to go with. A hosting account…its a little more complicated, but they make sure your blog is up and running and everything.
I recommend using www.BlueHost.com to purchase your domain name and your hosting account.
They have a very cool “One-Click” Install feature which will install your WordPress Blog For you. This is HUGE and will save you tons of time. Trust me, i’ve wasted tons of time trying to set them up myself.

OK, OK…follow the tutorials in each of the sections to actually set-up everything. I won’t bore you with the details here
One more tip though….the best way to advertise your blog is with a free service called Ping-O-Matic. Go there, select all of the services and let Ping-O-Matic let all of those services know that you have updated your content!
The entire subject of generating targeted traffic from blogs is an enormous one, and I don’t profess to be an expert at it by any means. If you want to really get the full outlay of getting traffic to your blog, you should check out book called Blogging To The Bank. Its an excellent how-to manual for blogs and its quite cheap actually. This will fill you in on several important techniques that I haven’t covered here.
