It has been absolutely crazy over here the last week or so. I’ve had all kinds of problems with my website hosting account.
Just a word of advice, when you do go with a website hosting, make sure to go with a well established name with 24/7 support and don’t go the cheap route like I did with my 1st website. That makes things painful when everything goes awry.
Anyway, I was just on the phone Saturday with one of my business builders and she had and awesome question that I think alot of people struggle with when they get started in internet network marketing, what exactly do you write about on your blog or in a newsletter?
Now, she is very product focused, and not so much into recruiting business builders, but the same principles apply there as they do anywhere.
She is very new to internet network marketing, but not new network marketing in general and she had a really hard time grasping what to write about on her blog or newsletter that her current clients and prospects would be interested in .
Her initial reaction was to write about how wonderful her product lines are how they would be great for people to use (bleh), which is a fairly typical way for those in network marketing to look at things…..its all about them.
What I suggested was this…
Write about a particular pain or frustration that your customers and prospects are having, giving them information about it, and then in the end tying in how a product or service in your company can help them alleviate that.
You really need to target who your customers are as well.
So, for example, let’s say that you are in a nutritional business and many of your prospects and customers are mom’s who are concerned about the health of their kids.
The way you need to approach that is write something about “common childhood illnesses” and how they are related to poor nutrition and then offer up your product as a solution to their kids getting better nutrition.
It’s really as simple as that.
We all want to read more about our pains and frustrations and how we can get rid of them, so you need to write from that angle, not from the perspective of just another MLM’er looking to make a sale.
Guaranteed if you do it right, you will have people beating down your door for more information about your product or opportunity.
