I was on the phone the other day with a guy who asked me a
very simple yet powerful question, “It is great that you teach
how to generate leads and generate multiple streams of income
online, but what I want to know is how to recruit online”
I’m sure you have the very same question, so I am going to lay
it out for you here.
Essentially, you are going to need to write a compelling sales letter
for either your business or product, but it’s NOT as hard as most
make it out to be.
Just the other day, I was reading an ebook I downloaded about
writing a sales letter.
The author was a VERY high paid copywriter (someone who writes
direct response copy…..or letters that you see that people read and
BUY from) and he was writing a letter for the golf niche.
This copywriter wrote a sales letter addressing what he thought two
of the biggest problems that golfers had and that his product would solve.
The problem was, he couldn’t figure out what the biggest problem
was between the two, whether it was that a golfer has a slice, or
he wants to hit it further.
That copywriter asked his boss who told him some sage advice,
“Forget about having a slice…the biggest problem that golfers have is
that they want to hit the ball farther, period.”
Now, for me, I’m a golfer, and I thought about what I really wanted
and, yes, I wanted to hit the ball farther…if I could hit the ball farther,
I would be a more “manly” golfer so to speak…… :)
The guy went and re-wrote his sales letter, addressing this ONE
issue, and the product he was marketing sold like GANGBUSTERS.

So what does this mean for you in your business?
Keep it simple and identify what the biggest problem is that your
business, or your products solves, and address that ONE issue in
a sales letter and position your business or product as the solution
to that…..really dig into it.
You see your own business opportunity isn’t a just a business, nor
is your product just a product, but in the eyes of your prospects it is
a solution to a huge problem they have.
Let me say that again, as it is critically important:
Your own business opportunity isn’t a just a business, nor is your
product just a product, but in the eyes of your prospects, it is a
solution to a huge problem they have.
So what does that mean when you are trying to recruit people
into your business?
At the core of it, for the most part, people join an opportunity to
make some money, maybe a little, or maybe a lot, but they “do
the business” to make more money.
When you write your own sales letter for your recruiting, solve
that ONE problem (how they can make more money with
YOU) and dig into it, and you will get a good response.
In the case of a product, you need to look at the biggest benefit
that your product offers and problem it solves….dig into it, and
when you write your own sales letter.
Now, let’s be honest here, people are very hyped up emotionally
and they feel the NEED to make more money when they are
looking for an opportunity.
If you can show them exactly HOW you (with the emphasis on
you, not your company) are going to help them achieve that goal,
you hit a nerve in them and they will justify whatever company you are in.
Remember this, people buy with emotion, and justify their
purchases with logic afterwards…..
Now, how exactly do you write a sales letter like that?
There are a few basic concepts and pieces to it that you need
to put into there:
- Your basic offer (them joining you and make it unique by
offering training from you, a hand crafted marketing system, or
in the case of a product a free 60 minute consultation, etc, as
bonuses to your offer)
- Give them proof you can do what you are saying (even if
you’ve never recruited anyone in your life, use proof from your
upline, or someone else in your company or system that you
use as proof that what you are saying is true)
- Provide scarcity to your offer (only recruit 10 or 5, or even
2 at a time, or with a product, say 15% off for this week only)
- Give them a guarantee and remove the risk from them ( you
can use your companies guarantee for this)
Those are the basic components of a sales letter, and I mean
basic.  I’ve used this formula myself to recruit online, sell training
products, and sell products to many many people.
I won’t claim to be an expert copywriter by any means, but those
are they key elements to any offer, whether it is for your
opportunity, or your product.
If you can include those components, honestly you are golden.
Then…..You can pass it onto your downline and literally sit back
and watch the checks start flowing in.
And this will get you recruits without being there pretty darn fast:
