Great video, as always, Kurt!

One point I disagree is to immediately delete the folks posting biz opps on my wall and through email from my friends list.

Why not delete the wall post and then send the SPAMMER a polite note why it was deleted?

After all, as attraction marketers, aren’t these folks our target market? We spend our time creating videos, articles, etc, to get in front of them yet here they are standing right on our doorstep, trying to get our attention. LOL

Realizing this won’t work for everybody, but I send a polite email explaining why I deleted their post and if it happens again…they are out.

On more than one occasion, I would get a response, from the serious folks, apologizing and then asking for my advice. Now, we are having an intelligent conversation on proper training, mentors, etc. They are now on my list and even some have turned into business partners. :>)

Don’t get me wrong, this spamming is annoying, embarrassing, bad for our profession, and gives us a black eye; however, if we just delete them without giving them the benefit of the doubt due to newbie ignorance or bad marketing advice, they will continue to be a black eye for us.

Otherwise…spot on, Hoss. Keep up the great work!

Mike,

Great comment here my friend. I hear what you are saying, however, the way I look at it, your time is better served marketing yourself and connecting with those you already have some type of relationship with via email or on the phone than trying to “fix” the industry.

Most don’t spend ANY time trying to communicate with those on their “list” and would rather just go out and “get more leads”, which is a huge mistake on their part. That is where true leverage comes from and where you will see the most results.

To your future success,

Kurt
