Network Marketing Training – Free Network Marketing Training

Outrun by a 85 year old man….

OK, I have quite an embarassing story to tell here.  The other day I was at the gym running around the indoor track, huffing and puffing along, trying my best to get back into shape.

You see, as alot of you might be, I was a High School and College jock. I used to run a ton, lift weights and training in the off-season, the whole bit.  I was in pretty good shape if I say so myself.

I take pride in keeping in shape and doing physical training…..at least I used to :)   I took pride is a more accurate way to put it.  The last couple of years I’ve kind of um…let myself slide a bit if you know what I mean?  Backed off on physical training.  I’ve used every excuse in the book to try and avoid in the gym in fact.  “Ohhhh its too late to go to the gym, i’m tired, I’ll just go there tomorrow.”  Ever felt this way or told yourself this before when working out?  I do all the time unfortunately.

However, I’ve recently started ramping up my training and going back to the gym.  I could handle the ridicule from my wife about the few extra pounds I’ve put on recently, and how I don’t “look” like I did when we got married…but the other day my daughters got into the act.  They were watching TV while I was doing some work and all of a sudden they came running over to me and exclaimed, “Daddy, you need this!  Go look at the TV, you need one of those!”

You see, a commercial for the PX90 workout routing had popped up on TV and they saw someone working out at home who was in great shape.  Ohhh….its amazing how effective some of the advertising is out there.  Bless their hearts for brining this to my attention :)

OK, so back to the gym for me….huffing and puffing.  I was going along at what I thought was a pretty good clip, and then…woooooosh, a MUCH older gentleman blew by me on the outside lane of the track and blurted, “On your left!”  He was trying to warn me he was passing me and for me to get out off his way!!!

This made me really think…how could he do this?   I used to be a real athlete and all and used to do tons of training…what happened?  Well, after I finished my “run” for the day, I stopped by him and started chatting with him, asking him about his workout routine and what he did, and one thing stuck out in my mind.

He said, “Yeah, the trick to getting in shape is training every day, you see, your muscles need exercise every day or they will decay.  If you do that…you will get a little bit better each day, run a little faster, a little farther.  Before you know it…poof!  A 85 year old man can run 10K races like me.  Make sense there, young man?”

WOW!  His statement really hit me profoundly.  This philosophy can be applied to anything, including Network Marketing Training.

You see, when we all start, we suck at Network Marketing, we really do.  But about 90% off the people just try it for a month or so and quit!  All without a chance of getting their “Network Marketing muscles” into shape and properly going through any network marketing training!

Would you ever try to run a 10K race, having never run in your life, all with only “trying running” for a month or so?  NO, you would train, come up with a training routine, follow it, track your progress, and prepare for the big race, right?

Its the same philosophy with Network Marketing.  You see, the key to success for that older gentlemen was that he kept at it….for years, and got just a little better each day!  He wasn’t trying to be the quickest or fastest with only a little bit of practice.  He understood how you need to consistently train your “muscles” in order to incrementally improve.  After a while, he was easily able to finish a 10K race!  And even blow the doors off this old out-of-shape jock here :)

So, here is the lesson.  Keep working at your Network Marketing skills.  If you are doing online marketing, keep at learning and improving on how you drive traffic to your website, keep improving on your ability to write attention grabbing sales copy….just keep working at it.  Keep at your network marketing training and improve your mind and skill sets!

Before long, you find that you will be able to “run” with the big Network Marketing dogs.

OK, enough writing.  Back to the gym for me!

It is so true what has been described by the old man. It takes a child to speak his first words at around 20 to 24 months, 6 months to crawl and almost 12 years to leave primary education.

Yet children are known to be able to learn faster and quicker than adults. They eat, learn and exercise day by day without thought of succeeding or just where the journey might end. Then when they reach puberty, ‘boom’, they change.

I like this post, it helps to remind us that there is no quick road to success.
