Network Marketing goals and having them is an extremely crucial piece of creating your success.  Having a very clear goal in mind in essential in order to work towards.

However, many people fall victim of improper goal setting and strictly focus on near term goals.  Often, in the MLM industry, there is a huge amount of focus on the 90 day plan.  I’ve heard it time and time again, what is your 90 day plan?

The best way to structure your goals is to begin with the “end” in mind.  Its extremely important to start from farther out, and work your way closer to the present when working on your network marketing goals. Here is a recommended sequence for how to establish and work your goal setting.  Keep in mind this is just a minimum step here.  You can and should create more detailed goals.

#1 3-5 year MLM goal – Where do you want to be in your business in 3-5 years?  Often, you can think of this as the near end-state for your business.  While it will continue to grow after that, often by this point with consistent hard work, you can achieve your ultimate MLM goal.

#2 1 Year MLM Goal – Where do you want your network marketing business to be after 1 year?  Come up with a concrete number here.  Something like $10,000 a month in revenue.  How many recruits and distributors will it take to get there?  How much product will you need to sell, based upon your compensation plan?

#3 – 90 Day Network Marketing Goal – This is the more common type of goal setting in Network Marketing.  Typically, this is not focused on a dollar figure, but is focused on recruiting or product goals.  As before, how many recruits will it take here to achieve your 1 year goal?  What kind of income producing activities will you need to accomplish in order to achieve this goal?

As I said earlier, its extremely important to begin further out and work closer to the near term.  In this way, all of your goals will build upon each other and contribute to your ultimate network marketing goal.
